Flour production in Kazakhstan up 10%


The pace of flour production in Kazakhstan slowed down towards the end of 2016, reports UkrAgroConsult. Thus, 350.2 KMT of flour was produced in the country in November 2016, or less almost 10% than in October and 8% less than in November 2015.

However, the country’s cereal flour output for the full year of 2016 is nevertheless expected to gain substantially. Overall, Kazakh flour production in 2016 increased 10.7% against the same period in 2015. So, Kazakh millers made 3.67 MMT of flour for the eleven months of 2016 compared to 3.32 MMT in January-November 2015.
