Import of margarine and spreads in Russia increased by 24% in January

In January 2017, the import volume of margarine and spreads in Russia increased by 24,0%, to 5.4 thousand tons (compared to January 2016)

The main suppliers of Margarines and spreads on the territory of the Russian Federation until 2015 was Ukraine (36% of imports in 2013), as well as Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Malaysia and several other countries.

In January 2017 the territorial structure of import of margarine and spreads has not changed much, but increased the supply of Margarines and spreads from Poland (2.1%, up to 0.08 t).
