In 2018 Russia and Kazakhstan increased grain loading on railway considerably

In 2018, cargo loading on Russian Railways networks reached 1 289.6 MMT. This is 2.2% more than a year before. In particular, last year Russian Railways loaded 27.1 MMT of grain (+22.6% compared to 2017), reports UkrAgroConsult.

“Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” reported on loading 11.5 MMT of grain in 2018 that was 35% more than in 2017, including 8.8 MMT for exports (+52% compared with 2017).
