Indonesia actively purchasing Ukrainian wheat

Ukrainian exporters supplied 5.86 MMT of wheat to foreign markets for the three months of the current season that is down almost 12% from last year’s record, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Indonesia became the key end market for Ukrainian wheat – the country’s export share reached 15% (over 850 KMT) at the time. More than 700 KMT of wheat was shipped to Egypt, or 38% more than at the same time a year ago.

Also, steady strong demand for Ukrainian wheat is reported from Bangladesh, South Korea, Israel, and the European Union. At the same time, Ukraine supplied roughly 360 KMT of wheat to India. Turkey’s demand for the Ukrainian product strengthens, too.
