Indonesia simplified the regulations for agricultural imports

Indonesia has simplified its regulations for agricultural imports from Ukraine and some other exporting countries, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Consequently, Ukraine can now claim to supply 100 types of agricultural products to the country. The updated list of goods includes 100 types of agricultural goods, in particular fresh fruits (43 types), fresh vegetables (35 types), cereals (7 crops), nuts (6 types), pulses (5 crops) and others (4 types).

A major change is nevertheless the fact that produce can now be exported without mandatory registration of laboratories in the exporting countries. It is enough to obtain a necessary Food Safety Certificate from the government body in charge of food safety. In Ukraine this function is performed by the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service.
