INTL FCStone: Brazil’s soybean crop projection revised to 111.8 MMT


Global consultancy INTL FCStone has revised its projection for the Brazilian soybean production to 111.8 million metric tons, which is 0.17 percent higher than the previous estimate. Adjustments on the yields coming from the states of Goiás and Mato Grosso do Sul. The consultancy says, if this projection gets confirmed, the final stocks would be close to 7.5 million metric tons.

The projection for corn production was also increased from 93.3 million metric tons to 96.15 million metric tons, according to INTL FCStone. The final stocks of the cereal would be above 20 million metric tons with a really bad perspective for prices.
