Japanese group Mitsui would buy 400,000 tons/yr of soy meal from Argentina


In a deal announced at the official visit of Japanese prime minster Shinzo Abe to Argentina, the congloramerate Mitsui promised to buy 400,000 tons of soybeain meal from the South American country annually until at least 2019.

The value of those contracts would reach US$ 700 million per year. The Abe visit is the first travel of a Japanese prime minister to Argentina in 57 years.
