Kazakh sunseed exported to Pakistan for the first time

Kazakhstan exported 33.1 KMT in March 2016/17 that was an all-time high for this month, up 47.8% from the previous month and 2.8 times more than in March 2016. Kazakh exports in the seven months of 2016/17 season continue showing record results for this time. They totaled over 151 KMT, i.e. up almost 40% from the same period last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The range of Kazakh export destinations is not very wide. Traditionally, more than 90% of the overall foreign trade is on account of Uzbekistan and China, though their combined export share decreased to 94% this season against 97% a year ago. This happened primarily due to expanded deliveries to Tajikistan, resumed sales to Turkey and Moldova and the opening of Pakistan’s market.

Further prospects of the Black Sea oilseeds/vegoils market will be discussed at the V International Conference “Black Sea Oil Trade”, which will take place on September 19, 2017 in Hilton hotel, Kiev, Ukraine.
