Kazakhstan. A new oil extractor to start operating by 2020

In the spring of 2018, JSC Eurasian Foods will begin the construction of an oil extraction plant in the city of Kostanay, the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports UkrAgroConsult.

“Our holding currently has two oil refineries, one in the city of Almaty and the other in Karaganda. Unfortunately, these plants now work on foreign feedstock, mostly on that imported from Russia. We cannot find enough vegoil within Kazakhstan for production. Therefore, we are planning to start building an oil extraction plant in Kostanay,” said Svetlana Boyko, deputy board chair of Eurasian Foods.

According to her, the project’s cost is USD 100 Ml. The project has already passed the loan board and is at the initial stage of construction. The launch of production is scheduled for 2020.
