Kazakhstan. Astyk Trans launches new route project

In January 2019, Astyk Trans launched a new project AT-Express, which provides for the implementation of a direct shipping route for exports to the countries of Central Asia. Currently, the first shipment has been already carried out and the hoppers return to Kazakhstan after unloading at the destination station. The capacity of the route reached 48 grain hoppers (70 MT each), reports UkrAgroConsult.

As a reminder, Astyk Trans is a joint Kazakh-Russian enterprise for grain shipments. The total fleet in the management of Astyk is 10000 grain hoppers, which allows to deliver about 12 MMT of grain per year.
