25.01.2017

In the current season 2016/17, as UkrAgroConsult expected, Kazakh exporters continued building up wheat bran shipments to foreign markets. So, Kazakhstan exported 60.6 KMT of wheat bran in the first three months of the season (September-November 2016), or 66% more than in the same period a year ago (36.5 KMT).

Uzbekistan remains the key importer of Kazakh wheat bran – the country absorbed over 78% of its total exports at the time. Another major importer is Turkey, whose export share approximates 15%. Having resumed wheat bran supplies from Kazakhstan in October 2016, China accounts for 2.4% of total exports of this product.
