Kazakhstan. Corn and barley rising in price, wheat becoming cheaper


According to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan, agricultural products sold by Kazakh farming entities rose in price by 2.6% in 2017. Crop product prices gained 3.3%, while animal products became 0.9% more expensive, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Last year, corn increased in price by 13.1%, barley by 11.7%, rye by 10.4%, oats by 5.8%, rice by 2.9% and millet by 2.4%. At the same time, wheat and buckwheat prices lost 3.4% and 10.4%, respectively.
