Kazakhstan. Grain stocks 7.5% down last year’s


According to the Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan, growers of all types held 18.5 MMT of cereals and pulses as of November 1, 2018, i.e. 7.5% less than on the same date a year ago (20.0 MMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.

Wheat inventories as of November 1, 2018 were 12.4% less year-on-year at 13.9 MMT, including 12,0 MMT of milling wheat, 852,7 KMT of feed wheat and 1.0 MMT of wheat for seed.

As of the reporting date, barley stocks totaled 3,0 MMT that is up 22.4% on the year, while those of corn were 259.0 KMT, rice – 332.2 KMT, rye – 24.7 KMT, oats – 288.9 KMT, buckwheat – 87.9 KMT, millet – 42.3 KMT.
