Kazakhstan. Grain stocks are up 41% from last year


According to the Statistics Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, cereal and pulse stocks at all farms totaled 4.18 MMT as of August 1, 2017, or 41% more than at the same time last year (2.96 MMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.

Wheat inventories are up 42% year-on-year at 3.68 MMT, including 3.32 MMT of milling wheat, 0.24 MMT of feed wheat and 0.12 MMT of wheat for seed.

As of the above date, barley inventories totaled 0.28 MMT, or up 21% year-on-year, with those of corn at 24.2 KMT, rice at 41 KMT, rye at 16.6 KMT, oats at 63.4 KMT, buckwheat at 21.2 KMT and millet at 9.2 KMT.
