Kazakhstan. Oilseed inventories up 15% early in the year


The Statistics Committee of the National Economy Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports that oilseed inventories totaled 768.3 KMT as of April 1, 2017 that is up 9% (+63.1 KMT) from last year (705.2 KMT as of April 1, 2016), reports UkrAgroConsult.

Structural changes happened in stocks of some oil crops. So, sunseed availabilities increased 74% year-on-year (+150 KMT) to 352.2 KMT, linseed ones gained 12% (+24 KMT) and reached 228.7 KMT, while rapeseed stocks are up 27% (+15 KMT) at 70 KMT. Remaining soybean inventories are down almost three times at 73 KMT against 216.9 KMT a year ago.
