Kazakhstan starts supplying of wheat to Chinese market


Kazakhstan has started supplying of wheat from Akmola region to the Chinese market, Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan reported.

According to the contract, Kazakhstan is expected to export about 10 kmt of wheat by the end of 2013. Besides this, Kazakhstan will hold negotiations with China on increasing of the volumes of export.

Kazakhstan plans to export more than 200 kmt of wheat to China, Iran, Russia, and Azerbaijan by the end of this year.
