Kazakhstan. Vegoil exports remain record high


According to official information of the Customs Control Committee of Kazakhstan, the country exported a record 74 KMT of vegoils in the first half of MY 2017/18 (September-February). This was almost twice as much as at the same time last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Sunoil continues to top the list of exported vegetable oils. 31 KMT of this product was shipped abroad in the first half of the current season versus 17 KMT a year ago. The main importers of Kazakh sunoil were China (53% of its total exports) and Uzbekistan (31%).

Linseed oil exports in the first six months of the current 2017/18 season totaled 11.9 KMT that was up 39% year-on-year. As before, the top buyer is China, which absorbs almost all exports of the product.

UkrAgroConsult notes that Kazakh crushers produced 205.8 KMT of vegoils in the first half of the current 2017/18 season (September-February), i.e. 12% more than a year ago. The current season is featured by rising in production of all vegoils.
