Kazakhstan. Vegoil exports up more than three times in September


According to the Customs Control Committee of Kazakhstan’s Finance Ministry, September’s vegoil exports from the country totaled a record 8 KMT, or 3.2 times more than in September 2016. This jump was contributed to by higher shipments of all staple vegoils, reports UkrAgroConsult.

So, vegoil exports included 2.2 KMT of sunoil against 0.8 KMT in September 2016, 1.8 KMT of linseed oil against 0.5 KMT, and 1.6 KMT of soybean oil against 0.4 KMT last year.

Besides, Kazakh traders shipped abroad 1 KMT of rape oil in September, whereas this product was not exported at all in the same month a year ago. The top September importers were China and Uzbekistan: they purchased 3.6 KMT (44%) and 2.7 KMT (34%) of Kazakh vegoils, respectively.
