Kazakhstan. Wheat is in good condition


The south and south-east of Kazakhstan enjoyed favorable conditions for plant growth and development from May 21-31. Precipitation occurred everywhere, being abundant in the north of the country. This improved soil moisture content but somewhat slowed down the planting progress.

Winter wheat was at stages of lower stem node’s emergence to flowering. In South Kazakhstan region, its stages ranged from heading to milky ripeness. Plant condition is primarily excellent and good, reports UkrAgroConsult.

In Aktobe and West Kazakhstan regions, spring wheat crops are at stages ranging from germination to three leaves, locally tillering. Plant condition is good and fair.

Favorable weather conditions for growth and development of cereals were observed in the southern regions of the country. Spring wheat crops are at stages of germination to stem elongation. Plant condition is good everywhere.
