Kazakhstani flour production up 15%

Flour production in Kazakhstan continued expanding in September 2016, reports UkrAgroConsult. The country produced roughly 331 KMT of cereal flour that month, or 4.4% more than at the same time last year and 12.3% more than in August 2016.

According to UkrAgroConsult data, in total, Kazakh millers have managed to increase flour production in the country by 14.7% in 2016. As much as 2.93 MMT of flour was produced in Kazakhstan in this year’s first nine months.

In view of a substantial increase in the country’s wheat harvest, UkrAgroConsult expects production and exports of Kazakh flour to further expand.
