Kazakhstan's KTZ handled 7.7 million tonnes of grain in Jan-Nov

Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) has transported 7.7 million tonnes of grain since the beginning of the year, the company's press service said.
Domestic freight shipments totaled 2.7 million tonnes, while exports amounted to 4.9 million tonnes.
In January-November, 2.6 million tonnes of flour was transported, 600,000 tonnes of which went to domestic destinations and 2 million tonnes of which to international consignees.
KTZ's freight turnover has risen by 9.9% since the beginning of 2017.
KTZ is the state-owned operator of Kazakhstan's railway system. The company is active in the following sectors: freight and passenger transportation, logistics, telecommunications, infrastructure, and investment projects. The company is part of the Samruk-Kazyna National Wealth Fund.
