KSG Agro planning to launch a pellet producing plant in 2019

KSG Agro is planning to launch a plant pellet producing plant in the village of Kolomoytseve, Dnipropetrovsk region, in late 2019, said the agri holding’s CEO Sergiy Mazin.

According to him, the plant is inactive now: it’s all about feedstock. Two or three months of installation works and roughly USD 1 Ml are needed to put the facility into operation. The plant’s design capacity is 60 KMT a year. It has two lines, 30 KMT each.

“To be profitable, the plant must have a utilization ratio of at least 50%. At the moment, we rapidly develop own heat generation, which envisages own consumption of pellets. Once we exceed the volume of 10-12 KMT a year, it will be possible to safely launch a line at the new plant,” the KSG Agro CEO added.
