Mavin to export fresh pork by end April

Mavin Foods of Vietnam will export the first shipment of one container of fresh pork cuts to an Asean nation by end April. David Whitehead, Chairman of the Group told Asian Agribiz: “The shipment is a result of Mavin’s efforts in building a safe production chain with full traceability and in accordance with international standards.”

With this shipment, Mavin will become the first company to export fresh pork from Vietnam. “We believe that this first shipment will be well received,” said Mr Whitehead. Mavin Group has four operational feedmills in Vietnam and is about to open its fifth in Dong Thap province to mark its presence in the Mekong Delta.
