Mayonnaise production in Ukraine down 0.5% year-on-year


In November 2017, mayonnaise production by Ukrainian large and medium-sized plants was at last year’s level (12.4 KMT), but 12.7% lower than in October (11 KMT).

Overall, mayonnaise production in 2017 has been fluctuating around last year’s level. So, Ukraine’s fat-and-oil industry produced 111.6 KMT in January-November 2017, or just 0.5% less than last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Taking into account the seasonal pattern of mayonnaise production and its growth ahead of the New Year, the final volume of 2017 output will be at 124-124.5 KMT.
