During August 08-14 weather with uneven temperature regime and precipitation was observed across the republic. The average weekly temperature was lower than normal by 0,5-1,5 ° C, and reached +18 ..+ 21°C. The minimum air temperature lowered to + 7ºC.

Precipitation amount on 55% of the country reached mostly 10-25 mm (80-205% of weekly norm), on the rest of the territory - 3-8 mm (25-70% of weekly limit).

Hot and mainly dry weather had mostly negative impact on crops development and formation. Lowering temperatures and precipitation at the end of the week slightly improved conditions for crops development. Corn was observed mostly at the phase of wax ripeness, in some places milky ripeness was seen. Ripening of sunflower continued.
