Moldova. Lower temperatures slowed winter crops development


During October 24-30 colder than usual weather with rains was observed in all regions of the country, reports UkrAgroConsult. Precipitation was mainly in the form of rain. At 75% of the territory weekly precipitation reached 12-29 mm (200-480% of the weekly norm), at 10% of the territory - 6-11 mm (85-155% of the weekly norm). At the rest of the territory it didn't exceed 1-3 mm (15-50%).

In some territories of the northern regions of the country snow cover was noted on October 27, but its depth didn't exceed 1 cm.

Low temperature observed during the week suppressed winter crops development. Some farms continued winter crops sowing last week.
