Moldova. Rains replenished soil moisture

Variable air temperatures and local abundant rains were observed in Moldova on June 18-24.

These rains replenished soil moisture and thereby improved the conditions for crop growth and development. In some southern areas, which are still exposed to a precipitation deficit, the conditions for crop growth and development are still not favorable enough.

Winter crops were at wax and milk ripeness throughout the week. Leaf formation continued in corn.

Sunflower plants were at the heading stage, even in bloom in some fields.
