New highs in agri production and exports of South America to be covered by Argentinean Analyst at “Black Sea Grain-2017”


Guillermo Rossi, grain market analyst and market strategist with consulting company Big River, Argentina, will cover the prospects of agricultural production and exports by South America in 2017/18 within the XIV International Conference “Black Sea Grain-2017”.

Presentation will address the following issues:

  • Argentina: changes in regulation of foreign economic activity and their impact on production and export of  agri commodities
  • Growing investment attractiveness of Latin America for large grain traders
  • Expansion and improvement of logistical systems of the region
  • Changes in agricultural trade and export structure over the past years

Guillermo Rossi is an economist, focused on studying South American agribusiness, mainly interested in public policies, market development and marketing strategies. He follows market fundamentals for the main crops in Argentina and its competitors. 

Guillermo is based in Rosario, one of the world’s major supply and demand centers for grains and the biggest port area in Argentina.

Since August 2016, Guillermo Rossi is grain analyst and market strategist with Big River, a consultant firm in Rosario. Earlier, in 2010-2016 he held a position of grains market analyst with the Rosario Board of Trade.
