In turn, Russia expressed a desire to increase the supply of fruits from the Philippines

The participants of the meeting discussed issues of development of agricultural trade between the two countries and cooperation in the field of veterinary and phytosanitary supervision.

Alexander Tkachev said that the agriculture Ministry is ready to provide full cooperation to ensure mutual access of agricultural products to the markets of the two countries.

"We believe a promising direction for increasing the volume of supply of fruit from the Philippines to Russia. Ready to examine this question after receiving specific proposals from the Philippine side," — said the Minister.
