Pulses. Facing Global Demand

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, pulses entered the top five of the most profitable agricultural commodities in 2016, when their margins exceeded 76%. It is no surprise that pulse plantings in Ukraine increased rapidly in the previous three years. In particular, pea planted acreage has expanded 2.4 times over the last three years.

However, pulse growers face a range of problems, both of market and purely technological nature.

So, we invite you to take part in the II International Conference Pulses. Facing Global Demand, as this would be one of the most effective ways of solving the problems and looking for new opportunities.

The following topics will be raised at the conference:

  • Interaction between farmers and end buyers
  • Problems and prospects of growing pulses in Ukraine
  • World experience of pulse growing
  • Modern technologies used by Ukrainian and foreign growers
  • Modern machinery and equipment for achieving high results
  • Cleaning, processing, packaging: requirements of Ukrainian and foreign companies
  • Problems and prospects of Ukrainian seed institutes and farms
  • Practice of drafting pulse contracts developed by the Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA)

- A vigorous debate where each participant will be able to get answers from leading Ukrainian and international specialists to questions on cultivation of chickpeas, lentil, mung beans and haricot beans.

Please note that today, on October 23, is the last day of registration at a reduced price.
