Rapeseed stocks in Ukraine down almost by half year-on-year


According to current information of the State Statistics Service, sunseed stocks in Ukraine totaled 2958.8 KMT on May 1, 2017, i.e. 47% more than at the same time last year (2003.8 KMT), reports UkrAgroConsult. 1561.6 KMT out of this volume was stored by growers themselves (+570.7 KMT, or 58% year-on-year), while storage and processing companies held 1397.2 KMT (+384.3 KMT, or 38%).

As of May 1, 2017, crushers’ soybean inventories were up almost 5% year-on-year at 335.8 KMT (319.3 KMT as of May 1, 2016). At the same time, rapeseed stocks were down almost by half at 22.8 KMT against 44.1 KMT as of May 1, 2016.
