
Rice traders off to Iran

A 16-member delegation of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) leaves for Iran to explore trade potential, a statement said on Monday. The delegation, which includes top exporters of basmati and long grain rice, will meet with the officials of the Ministry of Commerce of Iran, for selling Pakistani rice through government tenders and Iranian Ministry of Health regarding GMP issues.
The delegation will also participate in lunch arranged by Iranian Rice Importers Association, it added.
