Romania decreased wheat exports y/y


In November Romania exported 334 KMT of wheat, which was 20% lower than over the same month of 2016 (415.24 KMT).

Romania exported 2753 KMT of wheat through ports in July-November 2017, which is slightly lower than over the same period last season (2775.75 KMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.

Egypt retains first place among buyers of Romanian wheat, importing 625.8 KMT against just 376.87 KMT over July-November last season.

Second largest importer is Spain due to the lower wheat crop this season – 477.5 KMT (156.96 KMT). Moreover, better demand is seen from Jordan, Sudan.
