Romania. Productive precipitation only observed in the north of the country

Comparatively low air temperatures persisted in Romania during last week. They were 2-4°С below long-term normals in the west and south. The average air temperature varied within +10..+20°С, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Precipitation occurred mainly in the northern part of Romania (15-25 mm), while the other regions received at most 2-5 mm. Soil moisture continues decreasing. Its level is fair only in central and some western areas.

Romanian farmers finish harvesting corn and continue planting winter wheat and barley. Winter rape and barley are at the stages of germination and emergence.
