Rosselkhozbank will give farmers 1.2 trillion rubles in 2017


Russian agricultural Bank (Rosselkhozbank) intends to allocate around 1.2 trillion roubles on crediting of agroindustrial complex in 2017

This was stated by the Chairman of the Board Dmitry Patrushev at the St. Petersburg international economic forum.

According to Patrushev, Rosselkhozbank is one of the major banks participating in the mechanism of preferential crediting of farmers at a rate not exceeding 5% per annum. In this programme farmers are provided loans by 63.5 billion, of which short-term goals to 43.5 billion and investment to $ 20 billion roubles.

About 13 billion rubles of soft loans directed to small and medium businesses.

This Patrushev noted that diversification of the credit portfolio and reducing risks, the Bank plans to increase its activity not only in agriculture but in other sectors of the economy, particularly in the military-industrial complex.
