Russia. Cargill to invest RUB 1.8 Bl in production expansion


U.S. company Cargill has invested RUB 1.8 Bl in the creation of a biotechnology cluster in Efremov district, Tula region, Russia. The money was allocated for expanding production of fats, oils and animal feeds with subsequent development of the cluster’s infrastructure, reports UkrAgroConsult.

A number of small and medium-sized plants for advanced processing of agricultural products will be launched within the framework of the project implementation.

LLC Cargill is the Russian subsidiary of Cargill. The crushing plant was opened in Efremov in 2007.
