Russia. Construction of a grain terminal in Zarubino to begin in 2018


The construction of a grain terminal in the port of Zarubino will begin in a year and will take two years for completion, said Russia’s deputy transport minister. According to him, design of the terminal has already started. So, they project to finish building this grain handling facility in 2020, informs UkrAgroConsult.

As a reminder, Summa Group is realizing a project for the construction of specialized handling facilities in the sea port of Zarubino, the Troitsy Cove (Primorsky region). The port will include a grain and container terminals as well as a general cargo terminal.

The first stage of the project comprises a terminal for 500,000 containers and a 10 MMT grain terminal. The second stage will add 15 MMT of grain and up to 2 Ml containers.
