Russia. Corn stocks steeply decreased


According to the Russian statistics agency, farming, procuring and processing entities held 35.25 MMT of grain as of February 1, 2017, or 11.3% more than at the same time last year, informs UkrAgroConsult.

Wheat stocks at procuring and processing entities are 15.6% higher than last year (10.94 MMT, including 7.67 MMT of milling wheat – up 7.6% from last year). Barley stocks increased as much as 10.5% to 1548 KMT, with rye up 10.2% at 505 KMT, buckwheat up 64.9% at 90 KMT.

Corn stocks are 22.5% lower than last year, at 1608 KMT. In addition, rice and oat reserves slumped by 7.4% and 8.2% to 128 KMT and 136 KMT, respectively.
