Russia. Current 2017/18 season becoming more successful for rape oil producers

31.2 KMT of rape oil was produced in Russia in December 2017 against 41.7 KMT in November 2017 and 28.9 KMT in December 2016.

Each past month of the current 2017/18 season witnessed a year-on-year increase in rapeseed crushing. Consequently, total rape oil output in the first half of the marketing year (July-December) gained almost 24% and reached 195.5 KMT against 157.7 KMT a year ago.

As a reminder, the current season featured a rise in rapeseed production. This allows Russia to increase not only domestic crushing of oilseeds but also their exports, reports UkrAgroConsult.
