Russia. EFKO starting to produce sunoil under ‘Vivat’ brand


In early March, EFKO Group announced the beginning of bottled sunoil production under a new brand called ‘Vivat’, the company’s website reports.

This sunoil will be manufactured at EFKO’s plant in the town of Alekseyevka, Belgorod region, which if outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment. The new product will be represented in the lower part of the middle price segment of refined and unrefined sunoil of top grade. It will be packed in original PET-bottles.

As of today, EFKO Group released packed vegoils under brands such as ‘Sloboda’, ‘Altero’, ‘Dobavkin’, ‘Solnechny Venets’ and EFKO FOOD professional.

In 2017, the company gained the third top position in Russia’s market of bottled sunoil. Sunoil sales in Russia increased 12.3% to 109 KMT. At the same time, according to Nielsen, ‘Sloboda’ became the number one vegoil brand in retail chains, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The expansion of the product range in different price segments will contribute to enhancing EFKO’s position in the Russian market of bottled sunoil.
