Russia expanding capacities for deep soybean processing

The construction of a plant for deep processing of soybeans is projected in Stavropol region, reports UkrAgroConsult. Today the project is at the initial stage of its implementation. The total project cost is expected at some RUB 30 Bl. The plant’s design capacity will approximate 170 KMT of finished products (soybean protein products) a year.

The soybean plant is one of three future high-tech agricultural productions to be constructed in Stavropol region.

Having assessed demand for products and profitability of production, crushers show an increasing interest in deep soybean processing. Previously, we already reported the construction of two similar plants started in the Far East – the key soybean region. One of the plants will be built with attracting Chinese investments.
