Russia exported 29 MMT of grain


According to current information of the Russian state statistics agency, Russian grain exports totaled 29.019 MMT in MY 2017/18 by January 17, reports UkrAgroConsult.

This volume included 22.64 MMT of wheat, 3.644 MMT of barley and 2.537 MMT of corn.

As of the reporting date, the pace of grain exports was 36.4% ahead of last year. Russian exporters shipped abroad 21.28 MMT of grains at the same time in the 2016/17 season. Wheat shipments were up 35.3% from January 17, 2017, while barley exports increased 1.9 times and corn supplies gained 1.4%.
