Russia. Grain yield is higher compared to a year ago


Russian farmers harvested 64579 KMT of cereals from 16007 Th ha by August 14, 2017, with an average yield of 4.03 MT/ha. Last year 72661 KMT of grains and pulses were obtained to the same date with a yield of 3.31 MT/ha in 2016, reports UkrAgroConsult.

This includes 52009 KMT of wheat harvested from 12073 Th ha with an average yield of 4.31 MT/ha and 9113 KMT of barley hatversted from 2660 Th ha with a yield of 3.43 MT/ha.
