Russia. Louis Dreyfus opens grain terminal in Azov port


LLC “Agroport Ustye Dona", which is a part of the company "Louis Dreyfus Vostok", opened a grain terminal in Azov seaport. The object of 20 ha facility consists of 2 berths and 10 grain storage bins with a capacity of 50 KMT. At the initial stage, the planned annual volume of export handling through the terminal will reach up to 800 KMT of grain. Handling will be increased to 1 MMT before 2020, reports UkrAgroConsult.

It is noted that investment in the project totaled RUB 2 billion. The terminal in Azov became the first implemented port project of Louis Dreyfus Company in Russia. The facility will be used for grain handling to low-tonnage "river-sea" type vessels with deliveries to the Mediterranean countries.
