Russia. Ministry of Agriculture proposes to expand mechanism of transport subsidies for grain exports


In 2018 the Ministry of Agriculture of Russian Federation suggests expanding the mechanism for compensating costs of agrarians for transportation commodities by land, by adding compensation for road and railroad transport to ports, said Anatoly Kutsenko, director of the Economics Department, Investments and Regulation of Agricultural and Industrial Complex of Russian Ministry of Agriculture.

According to Kutsenko, last year, the Government introduced the compensating mechanism for railway expenses related to transportation, -50% to the destination point in the People's Republic of China. This year this mechanism will be improved, the list of border crossings will be expanded, practically all ports of Primorye, Krasnodar Region, Astrakhan, Rostov, Leningrad regions, including St. Petersburg will be added, reports UkrAgroConsult.
