Russia. More than 400 KMT of grain to be transported at a reduced tariff

According to information of Russia’s Ag Ministry as of February 05, OJSC Russian Railways submitted requests for reduced-tariff grain transportation. Delivery of 408.4 KMT of grain from the following regions of Russia was approved under these requests:

  • Omsk region – 99.7 KMT;
  • Novosibirsk region – 50.3 KMT;
  • Tambov region – 24.4 KMT;
  • Orenburg region – 15.1 KMT;
  • Kurgan region – 25.2 KMT;
  • Voronezh region – 56.5KMT;
  • Oryol region – 11.5 KMT;
  • Kursk region – 30.7 KMT;
  • Penza region – 35.3 KMT;
  • Saratov region – 40 KMT;
  • Lipetsk region – 19.7 KMT.

This grain is transported by rail to the stations of regions such as Buryatia, Dagestan, Zabaykalye, Krasnodar, Primorye, Khabarovsk, Astrakhan, Kaliningrad, Leningrad, Murmansk and Rostov, as well as to the city of Saint-Petersburg, informs UkrAgroConsult.
