Russia. New season kicks off with record soybean processing

The beginning of the new 2018/19 season in Russia features a high level of soybean processing. So, 71.2 KMT of soybean oil was produced in September 2018 that is a record high for this month.

Due to expectations of an abundant soybean crop in Russia in the 2018/19 season (at least 4 MMT), domestic crushing is forecast to increase. Consequently, the season is set to witness record soybean oil production, reports UkrAgroConsult.
