Russia. Plant for deep soybean processing to be constructed in Rostov region


Rostovsky Agrokombinat is going to construct a plant for deep processing of soybeans in Oktyabrsky district of Rostov region, the district’s administration reported, reports UkrAgroConsult. More than RUB 3 Bl will be invested to implement the project.

Rostovsky Agrokombinat has already started designing the plant. The facility with a 30 KMT capacity will produce isolated soybean protein, lecithin, soybean feed concentrate, granulated husk, and soybean oil. The date of the plant’s launch is not disclosed yet.  

OJSC Rostovsky Agrokombinat is engaged mostly in growing grain crops. The lion’s share in the company’s authorized capital (78%) belongs to OJSC Promneft and another 20% to the Russian Soybeans Union.
