Russia produced over 4 MMT of sunoil


Although oilseed crushing in Russia has been falling for a third consecutive month, vegoil production in the country continues hitting new highs for the month and the whole season, reports UkrAgroConsult.

So, 443.2 KMT of vegoil was produced in June against 473.6 KMT in May 2017 and 408.0 KMT in June 2016. Its total output reached 4935.5 KMT in 2016/17 (September-June) or 15.7% more than at the same time last season.

Over 81% of vegoil production is represented by sunoil. Total sunoil output in September-June 2016/17 exceeded the level of MY 2015/16: 4010 KMT against 3436 KMT, respectively.
