Russia. Rapeseed crushing higher than last year

30.8 KMT of rape oil was produced in Russia in January 2018 versus 32.3 KMT in the previous month and 30.7 KMT in January 2017. Throughout the current 2017/18 season, the monthly volumes of rapeseed crushing are persistently higher than a year ago. As a reminder, this was made possible due to a rapeseed crop increase in 2017, reports UkrAgroConsult.

In total, rape oil production in July-January 2017/18 was up 20.6% at 227.3 KMT against 188.4 KMT a year ago. So, it reversed a downward trend of the last two seasons.
